Oracle Cloud Business Analyst (Contract)
Location: Wilmington, MA (Hybrid)
Duration: 6–12 Months (Potential Extension)
Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Oracle Cloud Business Analyst to support ongoing enhancements within Oracle Cloud Financials for a publicly traded life sciences organization. This role will focus on optimizing existing functionality, driving process improvements, and supporting finance-led transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with Finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into system solutions
• Perform Oracle Cloud Financials configuration, testing, and day-to-day support
• Support UAT cycles, including test execution, issue resolution, and system updates
• Analyze and improve processes such as intercompany transactions, financial reporting, and automation
• Collaborate with global teams to align on best practices and system enhancements
• Act as a functional liaison between finance and technical teams
Qualifications:
• 3–5+ years of Oracle Cloud Financials experience (configuration + testing required)
• Prior experience with Oracle Cloud implementations or post-go-live enhancements
• Strong understanding of core accounting processes (GL, AP, AR, intercompany, etc.)
• Ability to communicate effectively with finance leadership and business teams
• Hands-on, execution-focused mindset with willingness to support day-to-day system needs
Preferred:
• Experience with process improvement and automation initiatives
• Exposure to payroll systems (e.g., ADP)
• Experience in life sciences, pharma, or public company environments
