Job Title: Pega Lead with Java and CLSA
Location: Princeton, NJ (Hybrid)
Duration : Contract to hire
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Technical Design/Development and Code Reviews
• Responsible for architecture liaison, design and development of business applications using PRPC V8.x.
• Ensures delivered work meets technical, functional, performance and business requirements as well as best practices defined by the team/organization/industry.
• Has an advanced understanding of PEGA PRPC V8.x tools and leads development activities in an Agile-SCRUM based work environment.
• Ability to translate business requirements into design/application builds and guide the development teams
• Performance tuning.
• Drives delivery of assigned tasks on schedule without compromising the quality.
• Leads and coordinates with cross teams in the project and promotes the use of best practices and tools.
• Build reusable Components and frameworks
• Enterprise Architecture Liaison
• Establishing coding/Design best practices & guidelines
EDUCATION:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering is required, or in lieu, a demonstrated equivalence in work experience.
Minimum and Preferred Experience/Skills
• 8+ years of overall IT experience with 4+ years in a technical leadership role.
• 6+ years in design and hands-on development experience in Pega PRPC.
• Pega CSSA / LSA certification is required. Pega V8.x experience is preferred.
• Should have hands on experience in developing PRPC / BPM applications.
• Good understanding and experience with integration tools and technologies such as BPM, Java, and Web services, ESB, JMS, XML, ETL in a J2EE environment. Java/J2EE certification is a plus.
• Understanding of DevOps (CI/CD/CT), Micro Services, AWS cloud based development with right agile mindset is required
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Advanced Oracle/SQL knowledge is highly desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills needed.
