Job Description:
β’ Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and database objects to support application solutions in an agile environment.
β’ Create, modify, and optimize database schemas, tables, views (including materialized views), and indexes based on business requirements.
β’ Perform performance tuning using tools like Explain Plan and apply best practices for normalization, denormalization, and star schema design in data warehousing.
β’ Develop and maintain ETL solutions using Informatica, ensuring robust and scalable data pipelines.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams to gather requirements, perform unit testing, and ensure timely and defect-free delivery.
β’ Support data modeling and BI/reporting initiatives, with exposure to tools such as Tableau, Cognos, or MicroStrategy (MSTR).
Must-Haves
β’ Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL (v11.x and above)
β’ Proficiency in Informatica development and data warehousing concepts
β’ Solid background in data modeling (including star schema)
β’ Experience with BI reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Cognos, MSTR)
β’ Familiarity with version control tools (SVN, Bitbucket)
β’ Excellent communication and self-management skills in an agile environment
Plusses
β’ Exposure to Unix scripting and Autosys for job scheduling
β’ Familiarity with SDM adoption or CI/CD tools such as Datical, Jenkins
β’ Experience with ETL/database testing methodologies
