Job Title: Power BI Architect 📍 Location: North Chicago, IL 60064 (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, Monday–Thursday) 📅 Contract Duration: 6 Months (Potential to Extend) 💼 Employment Type: Contract (W2 or C2C) About the Role: We are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-level BI solutions. This is a hybrid position based in North Chicago, requiring onsite presence three days a week (Monday–Thursday). The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical leader with deep expertise in Power BI architecture, data modeling, and performance tuning, capable of transforming complex data into actionable business insights. Required Qualifications: • 5–7 years of hands-on experience with Power BI development and architecture • Strong experience in data modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling) • Expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), and the Microsoft BI Stack • Proficiency with SQL and experience integrating with multiple data sources • Experience in performance tuning and dashboard optimization • Excellent analytical and communication skills • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, etc.) • Familiarity with Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and scripting for analytics • Power BI Certification (e.g., PL-300) • Knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate Work Schedule: • Hybrid role – 3 days onsite per week (Monday to Thursday) • Flexible remote days (1–2 days)
