Pay: $120-$124.93 Hourly 100% Remote We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Big Data Lead Engineer for a prominent client of ours. Details for the position are as follows: Job Description: $124.93 Hourly - W2 Only • The Lead Data Engineer will architect, develop, and support enterprise-scale data solutions leveraging modern Big Data and cloud technologies. • This role partners closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and cross-functional technical teams to deliver high-impact data products, optimized data pipelines, and actionable analytics. • The ideal candidate is both a hands-on technical expert and a strategic leader capable of guiding data engineering best practices across the organization. • Expert-level experience with Palantir Foundry for scalable data solution design and implementation. • Strong background with Hadoop ecosystem tools such as Hive, PySpark, Spark SQL, HDFS, etc. • Proficiency in Python or Java for pipeline development, automation, and workflow orchestration. • Solid understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks, with hands-on experience in at least one enterprise ETL tool. • 8-10 years of hands-on Data Engineering experience, ideally in enterprise environments. • Begins as a 6-month contract role - Temp-to-Hire.
