Role description
24 Seven is looking for an AI Prompt Engineer that will be a part of our ever growing bench. We need someone that will be ready to go when their name is called. About the Role We're seeking a creative and technically skilled AI Prompt Engineer to design, optimize, and manage high-quality prompts that enhance the performance and reliability of large language models (LLMs) across various applications. The ideal candidate will combine linguistic creativity with data-driven experimentation to deliver exceptional outputs from AI systems. Key Responsibilities • Develop, test, and refine prompts to optimize LLM performance for specific use cases (e.g., content generation, customer support, code writing, summarization). • Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to integrate prompt workflows into AI-driven products and tools. • Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis to evaluate prompt effectiveness and model output quality. • Maintain detailed documentation of prompt versions, model behaviors, and experimental results. • Leverage prompt chaining, few-shot learning, and contextualization techniques to improve accuracy and consistency. • Stay up-to-date with advancements in prompt engineering, generative AI frameworks, and LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini). • Ensure ethical AI use by designing prompts that minimize bias, hallucination, and misinformation. • Provide training and support to internal teams on effective prompt usage and AI interaction strategies. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred). • Proven experience working with LLMs such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar models. • Strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning fundamentals. • Proficiency in Python or other programming languages used in AI workflows. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and precision. • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure, interpret, and act on AI performance metrics. • Creative problem-solving ability and passion for advancing human-AI collaboration.
