Quantitative Developer β Contract | London
Weβre looking for a Quantitative Developer to join a global investment management firm at the forefront of a major data and AI transformation. This is a London-based contract role working with senior technologists, AI engineers, and business leaders to modernise core systems and drive automation, analytics, and decision intelligence across the business.
Key responsibilities:
β’ Build scalable data and analytics systems supporting multiple business functions.
β’ Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale financial and operational datasets.
β’ Collaborate with AI and data science teams to design, train, and deploy ML models.
β’ Create automation and tooling that enhance efficiency and insight generation.
β’ Promote best practices in data governance and software design.
Youβll need:
β’ Strong programming skills in Python (NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn).
β’ Experience building data pipelines and working with structured/unstructured data (SQL/NoSQL).
β’ Familiarity with the AI/ML model lifecycle from experimentation to deployment.
β’ Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Experience with C++, Java, or C#, cloud data tools, or financial systems is a plus.
