SAP Basis Admin || USC , GC

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing SAP environments with a focus on cloud integrations and big data platforms. This role requires expertise in SAP Basis administration, cloud services such as AWS and Azure Data Lake, and a strong background in database management and analytics. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex systems, implement innovative solutions, and contribute to enterprise data strategies for clients with USC or GC status. Duties Manage and support SAP Basis systems, ensuring high availability and performance across cloud and on-premise environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP solutions with AWS, Azure Data Lake, Hadoop, and other big data platforms. Perform database administration tasks for Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and other data warehouse systems; optimize database design and performance. Develop and maintain ETL processes using tools like Informatica, Talend, Apache Hive, Spark, and RESTful APIs to facilitate data movement and transformation. Implement automation scripts using Shell Scripting, Bash (Unix shell), Python, VBA, and other scripting languages to streamline operations. Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues proactively, and perform system upgrades or patches as needed. Support model training, analysis activities, and analytics initiatives by providing reliable data infrastructure. Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices for cloud services such as AWS and Azure. Participate in Agile development cycles to deliver continuous improvements in SAP environments and related data systems. Qualifications Proven experience in SAP Basis administration within enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS and Azure Data Lake integration. Proficiency with databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and experience designing scalable data warehouses. Hands-on experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Apache Hive, Spark, and related ETL tools such as Informatica or Talend. Programming skills in Python, Shell Scripting, Bash (Unix shell), VBA; familiarity with RESTful API development is a plus. Expertise in database design, analysis skills, model training techniques, and analytics methodologies. Knowledge of Java development or integration is desirable but not mandatory. Familiarity with Agile methodologies for project management and delivery. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems efficiently. Relevant certifications in SAP Basis administration or cloud services are preferred.
