Senior AWS Business Analyst
Job Type: Contract to hire
Location: Irving, TX
Worksite Requirement: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday onsite and Wednesday and Friday remote
Salary Conversion Target: $90,000-$100,000
Hourly Pay Rate: $45.00 - $55.00 / hour, W2
Overview
Vaco by Highspring is looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst with strong AWS experience to support a major initiative focused on LBM and pricing structure updates. The ideal candidate excels at asking the right questions, engaging with both business stakeholders and technical teams, and driving clarity in complex environments. Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen and must be legally eligible to work in the United States, as our client is unable to sponsor at this time.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the primary liaison between business and IT teams for LBM and pricing modernization efforts
• Conduct detailed requirements gathering through proactive questioning and stakeholder interviews
• Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and documentation
• Partner with architecture, engineering, and product teams to ensure alignment
• Facilitate discussions, workshops, and design sessions across cross-functional groups
• Support solution validation, testing coordination, and acceptance criteria definition
Preferred Experience
• Strong experience working in AWS-based environments (required)
• Proactive communicator who is comfortable speaking up, asking questions, and interacting with senior stakeholders
• Background as a Technical Business Analyst working closely with engineering teams
• Experience supporting pricing, LBM, or other business-critical system enhancements
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; equivalent hands-on experience also accepted.
• Minimum of five years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst supporting complex IT projects.
