Job Title: Senior Data Analyst – Analytics & Reporting We’re seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support analytics, reporting, and data strategy initiatives for a leading enterprise client. Location: Austin, TX or Cupertino, CA (Hybrid) Duration: 6+ months (possibility of extension) Visa: USC & GC Only Tax Term: W2 Only Job Summary Join a high-impact data organization where you’ll drive analytical insights, enable data-driven decision-making, and shape future-state data strategy. In this role, you’ll translate business needs into technical solutions, build sophisticated data pipelines, and deliver dashboards that influence executive and operational decisions. Must-Have Skills β€’ 8–12 years of experience in data analytics, business analysis, or data management β€’ Advanced SQL expertise across large and complex datasets β€’ Strong Python skills for analysis, transformation & feature engineering (Pandas, NumPy) β€’ Hands-on experience with Tableau dashboards and storytelling β€’ Deep understanding of data architecture, governance, data lineage, and MDM β€’ Proven ability to identify data use cases & convert insights into recommendations β€’ Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or Hadoop/Spark ecosystems β€’ Exposure to Collibra, Alation, or similar data catalog/governance tools β€’ Familiarity with reference data (e.g., D&B hierarchy, enrichment) β€’ Strong communication skills & stakeholder engagement experience Key Responsibilities β€’ Analyze enterprise datasets to uncover trends, correlations, and actionable insights β€’ Identify and define new data use cases aligned with business strategy β€’ Translate business requirements into technical specifications and analytical deliverables β€’ Conduct impact assessments comparing current vs. future-state data architecture β€’ Perform data profiling, quality checks, and identify source gaps β€’ Design & validate data pipelines, transformations, lineage, and documentation β€’ Execute feature engineering for analytics and modeling initiatives β€’ Build, maintain & optimize Tableau dashboards for stakeholder reporting β€’ Maintain business glossaries, data dictionaries, and metadata governance artifacts β€’ Participate in testing & validation of new or transformed datasets β€’ Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineers, product managers, and SMEs Environment & Tooling β€’ SQL: PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Redshift β€’ Python: Pandas, NumPy, feature engineering workflows β€’ Visualization: Tableau β€’ Version Control: Git / Bitbucket β€’ Project Tools: JIRA, Confluence πŸ“© Interested?
