SME Sr Hands on engineer who can connect with engineering leadership, drive architecture and platform level discussions.
Level: Senior / Principal Data Engineer
• Overall 10+ years of experience with strong technical and communication skills
• Expert-level data engineering — pipelines, lakehouse, ETL/ELT at scale
• Strong Azure hands-on — ADF, ADLS Gen2, Azure Databricks, Synapse, Event Hubs
• Solid Databricks experience — Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Spark optimization, Workflows
• Python (PySpark) and SQL proficiency
Strong Differentiators:
• Former Databricks employee – Highly preferred
• Databricks certified (Professional/Expert) + Technically hands on Senior
• Retail, supply chain, or CPG data platform background
• Medallion architecture experience (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
• Data governance, Unity Catalog, or data mesh exposure
• Prior consulting or client-facing delivery experience
