Role: Senior Data Scientist Seeking hands-on Senior Data Scientists with strong machine learning and AI experience to drive impactful analytics across supply chain and route management domains. Candidates should blend technical depth with business fluency to translate complex models into actionable insights within a fast-paced, high-visibility program. General information: This role is embedded in a cross-functional team delivering strategic initiatives under a large-scale program focused on cost efficiency and service quality. The team partners closely with business units to solve complex logistics challenges using data science and machine learning. The project is currently in an active build phase, offering high exposure and long-term potential to shape operational processes. A background in supply chain or logistics systems is beneficial but not required. Technical fluency is essential, as is the ability to engage business stakeholders effectively. Task and deliverables: • Engage with business stakeholders to define problems, co-develop solutions, and present insights • Build and deploy predictive models and optimization algorithms supporting route and cost-to-serve analytics • Translate business challenges into structured data science projects with clear success metrics • Test and refine models for accuracy, scalability, and business relevance • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate analytics into operational tools and workflows Required experience: • Required: Strong machine learning and AI expertise with demonstrated ability to deploy models in production • Required: Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Required: Product-oriented mindset with a focus on measurable user and business outcomes • Nice to have: Experience in supply chain, logistics, or route optimization • Nice to have: Familiarity with domain-specific tools (e.g., demand forecasting, geospatial analysis, network modeling) Additional Details • Location: on-site in Plano, Texas, United States • Overlap: We have two teams available, one will overlap with CST, the second with CET • Type: 40h/week Contract • Duration: 9–12 months • Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in their country of residence without employer sponsorship
