Database Developer Dallas, TX (Hybrid) 6 month contract to Hire (W2 ONLY, NO C-C) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Database Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Databricks, MongoDB, and Azure MSQL Database, with a passion for designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational reporting. This role will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, security, and performance. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient databases using MongoDB, Azure MSQL, and Databricks. • Build and optimize data pipelines and workflows to support data integration, transformation, and delivery. • Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and analysts to support data-driven applications and business intelligence solutions. • Ensure the security, reliability, and availability of data systems across cloud environments. • Analyze and troubleshoot performance issues across database systems. • Contribute to architectural decisions and recommend process improvements. Must-Have Skills: • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science • 3 6 years of experience in database development or data engineering. • Strong experience with Databricks for data engineering and analytics workflows. • Proficient in working with MongoDB for document-based storage and retrieval. • Solid hands-on experience with Azure MSQL Database (managed SQL solutions on Azure). • Basic understanding of C# and API development/integration. • Familiarity with Azure Data Factory for orchestrating and automating data movement. • Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services). • Working knowledge of Power BI for dashboard and report development. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
