Department: Financial Client Location : Tampa/Plano/NYC/NJ/COLOMBUS /Wilmington /Houston /Chicago Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Expert Engineer with deep technical expertise in HPe Non-Stop (Tandem) systems, Python programming, and TACL to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess broad experience working across large-scale environments with multiple operating systems and infrastructure. This role requires someone who is not only a subject-matter expert but also a leader in Agile practices and a coach to development teams. You will play a crucial role in driving forward the technical vision, ensuring the adoption of modern development practices, and providing mentorship across the firm’s technical teams. Key Responsibilities: • Platform Expertise: • Provide in-depth technical expertise in HPe Non-Stop (Tandem) systems, including architecture, integration, and troubleshooting. • Utilize TACL (Tandem Command Language) to interface with and maintain the Non-Stop platform as part of a broader systems environment. • Apply Python to automate processes, build tools, and support integrations within the Non-Stop environment. • Technical Coaching & Mentorship: • Act as a technical coach for one or more specialized skills, especially in areas such as Python, Tandem/Non-Stop systems, and Agile development. Qualifications: • Experience: • 10+ years of experience in large-scale software development or engineering. • 5+ years of experience working with HPe Non-Stop (Tandem) systems. • Proven experience in Python development, with the ability to leverage Python for scripting, automation, and tool creation. • Strong experience with TACL (Tandem Command Language) for system management. • Technical Skills: • Strong background in Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.). • Extensive knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. • Proficiency with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Familiarity with security best practices and building resilient systems. • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and other software development best practices.
