They need a hands-on strategic Senior or Lead ML Engineer with expert Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) experience to modernise core voice architecture and bring next-gen speech products to life. This role suits someone experienced in enterprise-grade ASR systems, product modernisation, and building scalable speech-to-text and text-to-speech features. 📍 Ideally Hybrid in London but open to fully remote for the right candidate 📅 6–12 Month Contract - starting ASAP 💰 Outside IR35 - rate depending on experience 🔑 The Role 🔹 Modernise and streamline platform architecture for scalability & customisation 🔹 Lead development of multilingual speech features & seamless language switching 🔹 Drive product innovation 🔹 Own complex ASR data formatting (e.g. alphanumerics, voice-specific cases) 🔹 Influence roadmap and product vision 🎯 What We’re Looking For 👉 Senior, Principal or Lead level ML Engineer 👉 Expert in Automatic Speech Recognition & Natural Language Processing 👉 Experience in enterprise-grade voice / speech products 👉 Skilled in model optimisation, multilingual pipelines & data handling 👉 Confident influencing technical and product direction
