People Analytics uses data and analytics to help client understand trends in their workforce and how they relate to business performance. This is an emerging and fast growing area of analytics: we leverage our vast database of proprietary datasets and work with our clients data to answer questions such as: how do I acquire the best people? How and where should I deploy them? How do I develop and retain my best talent? How do I drive growth and business performance?

What the day will look like
Strong data analytics expertise β leverage Aonβs proprietary datasets to deliver innovative analytics solutions to drive business results and better client outcomes
Skilled storyteller β lead client conversations using data and industry insights and communicates complex quantitative analyses in a clear, precise, and actionable manner
Demonstrate solid project planning skills β work across the organisation and liaise with our business consultants, technical staff, and global data science team to deliver and/or project-manage workforce analytics consulting engagements (e.g. pay equity, strategic workforce planning, predictive analytics)
Identify current and future needs among our client base to pursue new or expanded opportunities.
Employ strong consulting skills and business acumen support to lead sales conversations with current and prospective clients and acts as a trusted senior client advisor
Demonstrates commercial leadership β understand and interpret complex client requirements and problems, whether they are structured or unstructured in nature, and shape a solution into a proposal for a client
Contribute to proposal writing and support sales conversations with current and prospective clients
Skills and experience that will lead to success
As a People Analytics Consultant, your skills and experience will ideally include:
Bachelorβs degree in Business, Data Science, Economics, Human Resources, I/O Psychology, Statistics, or related field
Relevant work experience in corporate and/or consulting related to HR or Business Analytics (Talent/Human Capital Analytics preferred).
Expert knowledge of major HR functions and strong experience connecting HR metrics to business results preferred
Deep expertise in statistical modelling techniques and analytics technologies
Good understanding of advanced data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau or PowerBI) and analytical "story telling" to present data in a way that's insightful
Experience working with large-scale workforce datasets using data manipulation tools such as Python or R preferred
Intellectual curiosity, innovation, passion, speed and resilience in dealing with data
Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
