Role description
Northwest Partners is engaged in a strategic initiative with a well-established financial organization and seeks an experienced Splunk/Cribl Engineer to support and optimize system performance. This role involves Splunk infrastructure management, data onboarding, and cross-team collaboration in a hybrid work environment.
What YOU will do
• maintain, upgrade and troubleshoot Splunk servers, clusters and management systems
• install, upgrade and maintain required Splunk applications and add-ons
• provide performance and license tuning for systems and troubleshoot Splunk components
• deliver engineering and architecture support to meet system standards
• manage patching and updates of Splunk hosts and/or application software
• lead onboarding of new logs and troubleshoot existing log sources
• manage and optimize current dashboards; create new data visualizations
• optimize and onboard data sources using Cribl
• interface with executive stakeholders and present technical insights
• collaborate across departments in a fast-paced, communicative environment
• perform after-hours work when necessary for system changes
What YOU will bring us
• proven experience with Splunk infrastructure and application maintenance
• strong hands-on expertise with Cribl for data optimization
• demonstrated ability to support enterprise-level logging and visualization solutions
• experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders
• excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
• flexibility for after-hours work as required
