Role description Senior Tableau Consultant Developer We are seeking a Senior Tableau Developer to join our team This is an onsite contract position In this role you will be responsible for building new dashboards and enhancing existing ones turning data into easytounderstand dashboards for our business The Ideal Candidate will have a portfolio of referencable dashboards on Tableau Public that will allow them to Demonstrate data storytelling Clearly articulate the insights derived from their dashboards and guide users through the data narrative Possesses a strong design aesthetic Justify their visualization and layout decisions demonstrating an understanding of UIUX principles for data consumption Implement style guides and adhere to branding requirements Discuss data cleaning and preparation Detail the steps taken to prepare the data for their dashboards highlighting their data manipulation skills Describe technical implementation Talk about the underlying data sources calculations and any advanced Tableau features used Address potential limitations and future enhancements Identify any shortcomings in their dashboards and suggest ways to improve them Show problemsolving skills Explain how they tackled specifi c data or dashboard challenges or user requirements during dashboard development Responsibilities Develop design and maintain new and existing dashboards Create and manage Tableau data sources for Snowfl ake SQL Server SAP HANA and Google Sheets Utilize Tableau Virtual Connections to implement data security Publish workbooks and data sources to Tableau Cloud Proactively identify and resolve performance issues for slowrunning dashboards applying best practices for data extraction connection optimization and dashboard design Address and resolve support tickets related to Tableau dashboards data sources and performance issues in a timely manner Connect to onpremise data sources using Tableau Bridge Collaborate with tower leads and stakeholders from divisions like Apartments Offi ce and Retail to understand business problems and translate them into effective data visualizations Required Skills Experience Handson experience with Tableau Cloud and publishing workbooks Expertise in creating data sources from Snowfl ake SQL Server HANA and Google Sheets Strong profi ciency in SQL is a must Excellent communication and organizational skills with a collaborative approach to working with business stakeholders Experience with Tableau performance optimization techniques Skills Mandatory Skills : Tableau,ANSI-SQL,Dimensional Data Modeling Other details Benefits/perks listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with LTIMindtree (β€œLTIM”): Benefits and Perks: Comprehensive Medical Plan Covering Medical, Dental, Vision Short Term and Long-Term Disability Coverage 401(k) Plan with Company match Life Insurance Vacation Time, Sick Leave, Paid Holidays Paid Paternity and Maternity Leave The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salary target for the position across all US locations.
