SQL Developer

Overview: We are seeking a Senior-Level Developer with strong expertise in SQL Server, API development, .NET, and Power BI to support the Paratransit Technology Solution (PTS) Project. This role is responsible for managing SQL Server databases, stored procedures, jobs, analytics, and reports, as well as developing .NET applications, integrating with cloud-based vendor systems via APIs, and creating dynamic Power BI dashboards.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across the full development lifecycle—design, development, testing, implementation, and support—and will be comfortable collaborating with both business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions. JOB DESCRIPTION : Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server stored procedures, ETL processes, and scheduled jobsMigrate and synchronize data between on-premise legacy systems and vendor-hosted cloud databases using APIsDevelop and consume APIs to support system integration and data exchangeBuild interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for business analytics and performance monitoringDesign and support .NET applications as needed for front-end or backend solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutionsTroubleshoot and resolve production issues across supported technologiesRequired Skills and Experience:5+ years of experience with SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning)5+ years of experience in API development and integration5+ years of .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, or related frameworks)3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BIExperience with React and/or Angular a plus Strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilities Additional Skills : API Development Job Type: Contract Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Experience: SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning): 5 years (Required) API development and integration: 5 years (Required) .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, or related frameworks): 5 years (Required) Microsoft Power BI: 3 years (Required) React and/or Angular: 1 year (Required) API Development: 1 year (Required) Location: New York, NY 10004 (Required) Ability to Commute: New York, NY 10004 (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in New York, NY 10004
