Role description
The Planet Group has partnered with a large US company to locate a Senior Product and Growth Analyst for a contract role.
The successful candidate will support growth initiatives through actionable analytics, funnel measurement, and performance insights and will be highly analytical, comfortable working with large and complex datasets, and experienced translating business questions into measurable insights and scalable reporting frameworks.
This is a contract position but due to the client restrictions, we are unable to work with candidates who require third-party sponsorship to work in the US.
Responsibilities
• Build, maintain, and optimize growth reporting frameworks focused on user signup, activation, conversion, and engagement metrics
• Develop and manage recurring KPI reporting, quarterly pacing analysis, and weekly business performance dashboards
• Partner with Data Science and business stakeholders to define and measure the end-to-end customer and product funnel
• Analyze user behavior, channel performance, conversion trends, and activation gaps to identify opportunities for growth optimization
• Perform ad-hoc strategic analyses to explain performance changes, business trends, and operational impacts
• Acquire, clean, validate, and maintain data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency across reporting environments
• Create scalable analytical frameworks and self-service reporting solutions to support business decision-making
• Translate complex datasets and analytical findings into clear, actionable business insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Growth, and Data Science teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Support experimentation, performance measurement, and ongoing optimization initiatives across growth and lifecycle programs
Required Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, growth analytics, or business intelligence roles
• Strong experience working with large datasets, data cleaning, data validation, and ongoing reporting maintenance
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights from complex data
• Experience building dashboards, KPI reporting, performance tracking frameworks, and business-facing analytics solutions
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases or cloud-based data platforms
• Experience conducting funnel analysis, conversion analysis, cohort analysis, or customer lifecycle analytics
• Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and business stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
