Role description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Function as Level 3–4 Radio Engineer supporting enterprise radio systems
Lead end-to-end radio system design, integration & commissioning
Support TMNA Radio Network initiatives (POCs & Production deployments)
Troubleshoot audio quality, coverage gaps, RF interference, and data issues
Configure/test repeaters, combiners, antennas, routers, IP hardware
Own large-scale Private Cellular and radio infrastructure projects
Lead vendor selection, technical evaluations & solution design
Conduct weekly project status meetings
Perform and coordinate site surveys & RF coverage planning
Track resources, execution, deployment validation & expansions
Oversee installs, upgrades & maintenance for all radio/cellular systems
Submit & manage Change Management for Motorola systems
Engage with vendors for escalations and issue resolution
Troubleshoot using tools like Wireshark, iPerf, monitoring systems, etc.
Support service tickets while managing enterprise deployments
Maintain operational documentation & support guides
Travel to radio sites for surveys, testing, and field deployments
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, MIS, or equivalent experience
8–10 years of professional experience
Expertise in Motorola Radio Systems, Motorola LMR, MOTOTRBO, DMR, Capacity Max
Knowledge of RF propagation, interference mitigation, and coverage analysis
Strong experience with CPS, RM (Radio Management), Tuner, firmware tools
IP networking proficiency: VLAN, QoS, firewalls, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN
Experience with wireless technologies, RF systems, LTE networks
Strong troubleshooting using Wireshark, iPerf, and performance tools
Excellent communication, vendor coordination & cross-team collaboration
Ability to handle after-hours support & travel as required
DESIRABLE SKILLS
Motorola Solutions Certified Professional (nice to have)
Strong program/project management skills
Vendor & team collaboration experience
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
