Position Details: Sr Software Backend Engineer-Remote-California CA Client : Yahoo Job ID : 3316 Location : Remote Project Duration : 12+ Months Contract Pay Rate : $70/hr. on W2 Job Description Key team goals: Contacts product feature development, Build & deployment activities, tech stack upgrade, Resolving Security & Customer report tickets, Cloud migration related activities. Primary responsibilities (daily/weekly): TBD, team follows agile methodology, follows bi-weekly sprints and tickets can be assigned as per priority. Success metrics or KPIs for this role: Able to medium complex tasks independently in 1-2 months of time. Must-have skills/qualifications (technical, soft skills, certifications, tools): • Java, working experience with web servers like Tomcat/Jetty/Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes framework, Test NG framework • Experience with relational databases like MySQL, Oracle • Cloud Experience with AWS/GCP • Experience with continuous integration pipelines • Experience building web applications to serve REST APIs Ideal experience level (years, leadership, industries): 8+ years of experience Any preferred industries or companies for background? • Experience with high scale web applications • Experience building web applications to serve REST APIs Desired personality or work style: work independent, collaboration, communication skill, problem solver, fast paced environment, quick learner, accountable Key attributes or values sought in the candidate: work as a team.
