Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst
Location: North Chicago, IL 60064 (Hybrid Schedule)
Pay: $30 - $32/hour
Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to support end-to-end distribution and inventory operations across U.S. supply chains. This role manages inventory reconciliation between the organization and 3PL systems, monitors IDOC failures, drives data-backed process improvements, and ensures accurate, efficient flow of product between distribution centers.
The ideal candidate brings strong supply chain experience, an ability to collaborate cross-functionally, and an analytical mindset that can balance high-level visibility with deep-dive problem solving.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Distribution Operations
β’ Own daily inventory reconciliation between the organization and 3PL systems.
β’ Oversee and coordinate daily inventory transfers between Distribution Centers.
β’ Track, evaluate, and adjust inventory alignment; investigate discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
β’ Verify outbound deliveries daily and review inbound/outbound transaction accuracy.
β’ Support end-of-quarter activities including cycle counting, discrepancy reconciliation, and shipment validation.
SAP & Reporting
β’ Update SAP deliveries to prevent delays in inventory movements.
β’ Monitor and resolve IDOC failures in partnership with 3PL and Global IT.
β’ Generate and analyze inventory and distribution KPI reports.
β’ Conduct month-end reporting for inventory accuracy, returns, order quality, and aging stock risks.
Cross-Functional Support
β’ Assist Distribution leadership with KPIs, SOP reviews, invoices, and SAP/3PL reporting requests.
β’ Support Order Management with cancellations, batch determinations, and SAP device asset transactions.
β’ Collaborate with Finance to determine reserves for short-dated or excess inventory.
β’ Provide onsite support during 3PL go-lives or distribution transitions.
Continuous Improvement
β’ Identify process inefficiencies and drive cost-saving workflow enhancements.
β’ Contribute to standardization, best-practice execution, and automation opportunities across the supply chain.
Qualifications
Required
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Economics, or related analytical field.
β’ 1+ years' professional experience in Supply Chain Operations, Inventory Management, Logistics or Warehousing.
β’ SAP experience required.
β’ Strong analytical ability β capable of high-level monitoring + deep investigative problem solving.
β’ Excellent communication and cross-functional partnership skills.
β’ Ability to travel domestically as needed.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
β’ Experience with PowerBI, Qlik, or dashboard/reporting tools.
β’ Lean Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement mindset.
β’ Prior project management experience.
β’ Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills.
