Supply Chain Senior Associate - Operations Specialist
Location: Easton, PA (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, standard business hours
Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)
Compensation: $35–$40 per hour (based on experience)
Contract Length: 18 months (possible extension)
Summary of the Role
Join a big biopharma leader as a Supply Chain Operations Specialist supporting essential warehouse and supply chain operations in a 3PL environment. You will manage raw material receipts, documentation, ERP workflows, and outbound schedules while ensuring efficient, compliant processes. This role requires strong ERP experience (preferably SAP), hands-on warehouse coordination, and the ability to partner cross-functionally to support the broader manufacturing network.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and manage the raw materials receipt tracker for real-time lifecycle and quality workflow visibility
• Develop, maintain, and monitor purchase orders and inbound shipment schedules
• Create and coordinate weekly outbound schedules, including delivery creation and transportation with 3PL
• Ensure accurate GMP documentation and data entry for all shipping and receiving activities
• Support on-site operations strategy with 3PL leadership and internal company teams
• Lead SAP and Logistics Service Provider (LSP) system integration activities
• Prepare and present dashboards and KPI metrics for leadership
• Participate in cross-functional workstreams across accounting, planning, procurement, quality, and technical operations
• Resolve quality issues such as damages, errors, and temperature excursions within the 3PL warehouse
• Investigate and resolve shipment and ERP exceptions; close associated quality records
• Contribute to continuous improvement through project management, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
Qualifications
Top Skills (Must-Haves):
• ERP/WMS experience (preferably SAP)
• Inbound/outbound warehouse operations (purchase orders, receipt flows, documentation)
• Strong organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
Required Experience & Skills:
• Supply chain or warehouse operations experience in regulated environments
• Strong hands-on capability with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Proficiency with Smartsheet and Excel; able to manage high-volume data
• Experience troubleshooting WMS and ERP discrepancies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cGMP standards and warehousing best practices
• Ability to work reliably onsite and perform hands-on warehouse tasks
Preferred:
• Continuous improvement mindset; strong analytical and facilitation skills
• Project management experience; ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines including GxP and SOX
• Advanced skills in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, CDOCS, QMTS, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire)
• PMP or CPIM certification
• Experience supporting clinical study supply chains
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Maintain the raw materials receipt tracker for real-time updates
• Monitor incoming purchase orders and inbound shipment schedules
• Coordinate weekly outbound shipments and transportation
• Investigate inventory status and resolve discrepancies
