Supply Chain Planner (Contract) Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft. Summary This position offers an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic cloud capacity planning team responsible for managing critical regional infrastructure in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. The successful candidate will serve as a dedicated regional planner, ensuring optimal capacity fulfillment and maintaining the health of assigned regions through proactive monitoring and strategic coordination. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in cross-functional collaboration, possesses strong analytical capabilities, and demonstrates the ability to drive accountability across multiple stakeholder groups. The position involves a blend of operational execution, data analysis, and strategic communication, working closely with power planning, server planning, and data center operations teams to manage demand and supply in a resource-constrained environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong operational or supply chain background, exceptional technical skills, and the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations that support critical business objectives. Job Responsibilities β€’ Manage and monitor assigned regions to ensure capacity needs are fulfilled and overall regional health is maintained β€’ Drive data accuracy through true-up processes, alignment of excess capacity views, and daily verification of power feed changes β€’ Perform daily checks on preliminary consumption data and promptly flag potential bottlenecks or issues β€’ Collaborate closely with planning teams to execute priorities and coordinate with support teams and external stakeholders β€’ Resolve capacity issues effectively through informed decision-making based on established guidelines and data analysis β€’ Prepare and distribute daily and weekly reports to stakeholders, ensuring timely communication of critical information β€’ Document troubleshooting steps and problem resolution processes for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement β€’ Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues impacting regional performance β€’ Convert data insights into clear presentations and documents for effective stakeholder communication β€’ Drive accountability and closure with partner teams through consistent follow-ups via email, chat, and meetings β€’ Make and justify informed decisions to stakeholders based on data-driven analysis β€’ Ensure accurate reclassification of capacity resources and maintain data integrity across systems Requirements β€’ Minimum 5 to 7 years of proven experience in operations, capacity planning, or supply chain planning roles β€’ Demonstrated experience in project management with focus on operational execution β€’ Background in data analytics with track record of interpreting complex data to drive decisions β€’ Experience working in cross-functional team environments with multiple stakeholders β€’ Supply chain expertise or planning-related certifications preferred β€’ Experience in cloud infrastructure or data center environments is highly desirable β€’ Advanced proficiency with SQL, Power BI, and Power Automate is advantageous β€’ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis and reporting β€’ Strong experience with Power BI for data visualization and dashboard creation β€’ Solid understanding of SQL for data querying and manipulation β€’ Exceptional communication skills with ability to collaborate across multiple organizational teams β€’ Strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities β€’ Excellent organizational and coordination abilities β€’ Proven data analytics expertise with ability to interpret complex datasets β€’ Demonstrated ability to drive gap and issue resolution to closure independently β€’ Strong sense of ownership and accountability β€’ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment β€’ Proficiency in converting technical data into executive-level communications Additional Details β€’ Location: Redmond, WA (Hybrid: 1 day/week Onsite) β€’ Duration: 6 months β€’ Pay Range β€’ : $36.50 - $41.50 per hour β€’ Weekly Schedule: 40 hours β€’ Job Status: Non-Exempt β€’ Application Deadline: Apply within 72 hours of the posting date to ensure consideration.
