Purpose of the Role
As an Analyst on our team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our 2030 Value Creation Strategy. This position is central to ensuring best-in-class environmental reporting by managing our carbon accounting, performing in-depth data analysis, and proactively engaging with stakeholders. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our emissions data and in supporting responses to a range of sustainability reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Environmental Data Quality Assurance: Analyse and validate environmental data submitted by our local markets via the Salesforce Net Zero Cloud (NZC) platform.
β’ Data Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and resolve inconsistencies or anomalies in data to ensure the highest quality and accuracy.
β’ Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders to address data-related questions and provide support.
β’ Audit Support: Collaborate with managers to provide necessary data and information during external audits.
β’ Sustainability Reporting: Assist managers in compiling and generating environmental reports for audit purposes, including creating clear data visualizations.
β’ ESG Ratings: Support managers in responding to various ESG ratings and identifying opportunities for future improvements.
β’ Ad-hoc Support: Contribute to other sustainability reporting activities as needed to support the team.
Qualifications + Skills
β’ Data Analysis: Skilled in gathering, analysing, and interpreting complex datasets.
β’ Reporting Frameworks: Understanding of, or a strong willingness to learn the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHGP) standards.
β’ Sustainability Expertise: Knowledge of sustainability principles, environmental regulations, and reporting best practices.
β’ Data Visualisation: Ability to use visualisation tools to present data clearly and effectively.
β’ Attention to Detail: Accuracy and thoroughness in validating and reconciling data.
β’ Problem-Solving & Time Management: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
