Role description
Role: Tableau Developer Location: Reston, VA (hybrid) Duration: 12+ months Interview: In person Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tableau Developer with strong SQL expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights. Experience with Salesforce is a plus but not required. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and visualizations to support business decision-making. • Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability. • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in reporting solutions. • Provide support and troubleshooting for Tableau-related issues. • Document processes, dashboards, and data flows. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in Tableau development. • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases. • Experience in data analysis and visualization best practices.
