Role: Technical Business Analyst – Datacentre & Cloud Migration - TSA Location: London – Fully Remote / Work From Home Rate: £525/day (Outside IR35) Duration: 6 Months We’re seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support the discovery phase of a large-scale datacentre migration, integration, and consolidation project following a recent merger. This is a critical role in helping define the future technology landscape for a large enterprise environment undergoing significant transformation. Your Mission You’ll work across infrastructure and cloud teams to document, assess, and define the AS-IS and TO-BE states for applications, datacentre infrastructure, and cloud architecture—providing insight and clarity to support strategic migration decisions. What You’ll Be Doing 1. Applications Discovery – Identify what apps are hosted in the datacentre, assess scale and readiness for migration 1. Datacentre & Infrastructure – Map existing server/storage processes and define the future operating model 1. Cloud Migration – Provide input and analysis on Azure to AWS cloud migration 1. TSA-Based Transition – Work within the framework of a Transitional Service Agreement post-merger 1. Business Analysis – Capture requirements, shape work packages, and support delivery planning 1. Agile Delivery – Operate in Agile (SAFe/Scrum) and Waterfall environments, tailoring your approach accordingly 1. Create artefacts using BPMN/UML, conduct GAP and SWOT analyses What You’ll Bring • Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst in datacentre/cloud migration programmes • In-depth understanding of infrastructure, applications, and server/storage environments • Experience with Azure to AWS migrations • Previous work in merger environments under TSA constraints • Proven Agile experience (SAFe, Scrum) • Excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills Please share your CV as shikha@careerwise.com
