Role description
Technical Business Analyst Settlements Global FinTech | 6-Month Contract | £750/day | Hybrid (2 days onsite) Join a leading global fintech driving innovation in post-trade processing. We re seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support major change initiatives on a real-time, event-driven securities back-office platform. What you ll do: • Deliver technical business analysis for settlement module enhancements and client-led projects. • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA throughout the SDLC. • Produce use cases, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications. • Analyse SWIFT MT/MX messaging flows and interpret interface specifications. • Break down product-level requirements into technical work items. What you bring: • 5+ years experience in financial services (custodians, back-office vendors, broker-dealer ops). • Strong knowledge of securities industry flows, especially SWIFT MT/MX. • Hands-on technical skills: Linux, SQL, REST API integrations. • Ability to interpret industry initiatives into detailed requirements. • Excellent analytical, organisational, and stakeholder communication skills. Desirable: • Experience with North American market infrastructures (DTC, CDS, NSCC, FICC). • Familiarity with SAFe Agile, FIX, Bloomberg XML, and global settlement flows.
