While our broker platform is the core technology crucial to Ki's success - this role will focus on supporting the middle/back-office operations that will lay the foundations for further and sustained success.Β  We're a multi-disciplined team, bringing together expertise in software and data engineering, full stack development, platform operations, algorithm research, and data science. Our squads focus on delivering high-impact solutions - we favour a highly iterative, analytical approach. You will be designing and developing complex data sets and reporting using Big Query and Tableau.Β  In addition, you will also work closely with the Ki Data Engineers, Infrastructure/Platform Team and business stakeholders responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining certified data sets, interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders across the business. What you will be doing: πŸ–ŠοΈ β€’ Design, develop, and deploy BI solutions using Tableau. β€’ Translate business requirements into technical specifications and visualizations. β€’ Build and optimize data models and dashboards for performance and usability. β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver insights β€’ Collaborate with data engineers, analysts and data manager to ensure data accuracy and integrity. β€’ Maintain and enhance existing data sets, reports and dashboards based on user feedback. β€’ Ensure BI solutions align with data governance and security standards. β€’ Provide training and support to business users on Tableau best practices. β€’ Stay current with BI trends and recommend improvements to existing processes. β€’ Work with finance, actuaries, data scientists and engineers to understand how we can make best use of new internal and external data sources β€’ Work with our delivery partners at EY/IBM to ensure robustness of Design and engineering of the data model/ MI and reporting which can support our ambitions for growth and scale. β€’ BAU ownership of data models and reporting. β€’ Produce detailed documentation to allow ongoing BAU support and maintenance of data structures, schema, reporting etc. β€’ Monitor and troubleshoot data issues, ensuring reliability and accuracy. Requirements β€’ Proven experience Β in BI development using Tableau. β€’ Good understanding of Tableau calculations and dataset preparation. β€’ Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying. β€’ Experience with data modelling, ETL processes, data warehousing and pipelines, ideally in GCP β€’ Familiarity with Git workflows and utilising platforms like Github. β€’ Ability to handle large datasets, resolve data quality issues, and optimize performance. β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. β€’ Strong knowledge of database and data lake systems β€’ Comfortable working in an Agile environment Benefits What to expect during the recruitment process: Initial recruiter screening call Interview with hiring manager Technical Interview (this may vary depending on the role) Values Interview
