Responsibilities:
β’ Lead the installation, configuration, administration, and support of IBM Urban Code Deploy (Udeploy).
β’ Drive Udeploy software upgrades, including managing licenses via IBM License Key Center.
β’ Onboard new consumers to the Udeploy application.
β’ Develop custom Udeploy plugins (e.g., integrating with ServiceNow).
β’ Contribute to automation efforts using scripting languages like Groovy, Ansible, and Python.
β’ Support a Java application that wraps the UDClient.
Required Skills & Experience:
β’ 5-7 years of overall experience, with a strong technical background.
β’ 4+ years of hands-on experience with IBM UrbanCode Deploy (Udeploy), specifically with installation, configuration, architecture, and upgrade experience.
β’ Proficiency in coding and scripting (e.g., Golang, Python, Java/Groovy, Bash).

β’ Knowledge of Blue/Green deployments.
β’ Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
β’ Familiarity with Java development.
β’ Kubernetes Certification or Jenkins Certification.
Soft Skills:
β’ Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Jenkins Cert a plus
Years of experience: 5-7
Screening Questions:
1. Please describe any experience you have in a banking or large company environment in an end-user support capacity (specifically for issues that are not resolved by the normal operation support team, i.e., when issues are escalated to the engineering team for further triaging, remediation, and potentially root cause analysis)?
1. Confirm that the candidate has performed some of the following specifically with the IBM Udeploy technology (install, configure, upgrade, remediate vulnerabilities, capacity planning, etc). If the candidate has merely used the IBM Udeploy tool for their deployments, they might not be a good candidate.
Interviews Process: 30 min screening IV w/HM
2nd round the above and additional team members, 30-60 mins
Note: While education is flexible, significant experience, particularly with Udeploy installations and upgrades in large enterprises or banking environments, is highly valued.
