Job: Accounting Clerk II Payrate: $35-$40/hr. on W2 Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid) Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension) Role Overview The Finance Analyst Contractor will provide foundational support to the FP&A and Supply Chain Finance teams. This is a beginning position designed to build skills in financial analysis, reporting, and data visualization. The contractor will gain exposure to enterprise systems and processes. Key Responsibilities • Support FP&A in budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking. • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance reports. • Support scenario modeling and performance tracking. • Assist Supply Chain Finance with cost analysis and reporting. • Help track supply chain costs (freight, inventory, procurement). • Prepare reports to monitor supply chain KPIs. • Develop reports in Excel and Power BI for financial analysis. • Use formulas, pivot tables, and charts to analyze large datasets. • Build and maintain basic financial models. • Develop Power BI dashboards with guidance, learning DAX and visualization best practices. • Gain exposure to enterprise financial systems (planning, ERP, and consolidation tools). • Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages. • Provide ad hoc analysis under guidance from senior team members. Required Qualifications • 2+ years of experience in an accounting or finance-related position with strong focus on reporting and analysis. • Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, handling large datasets). • Basic Power BI knowledge with eagerness to learn advanced features (DAX, dashboards). • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail abilities. • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
