<.>Role Summary
The Business Analyst II supports Data Governance & Stewardship (DG&S) initiatives for pharmaceutical clients by serving as a key liaison between business stakeholders and data operations teams. This role is responsible for managing client relationships, improving customer data quality, overseeing data stewardship processes, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and service level agreements (SLAs). The position combines business analysis, data governance expertise, and operational leadership.
<.>Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage client customer data management processes, including physicians, healthcare organizations, and related entities
• Assess, monitor, and improve the quality and integrity of pharmaceutical customer data
• Utilize approved data sources, tools, and systems (MDM, CRM, and spreadsheets) to review, validate, and analyze data
• Act as a business analyst and primary client-facing resource for Data Stewardship and Data Governance engagements
• Develop, document, and optimize business processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures related to data management
• Provide ongoing feedback to internal leadership and client stakeholders regarding data quality issues, risks, and areas requiring escalation
• Lead and support data stewardship teams, including training, quality oversight, and workflow coordination
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards
• Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and SLA metrics to clients on a predefined schedule
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across data governance operations
<.>Skills & Experience Requirements
• Undergraduate degree preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience
• Experience working with medical or healthcare data (required)
• Experience with pharmaceutical data and related datasets (preferred)
• Fundamental understanding of relational databases and data management platforms (MDM, CRM preferred)
• Strong technology aptitude with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and tools
• Experience in process development, workflow design, and documentation
• Project management and operations leadership experience
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, research, and data validation skills
• Proven experience tracking KPIs and analyzing operational performance metrics
• Excellent customer service orientation with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently, follow direction, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Copilot (Microsoft Access a plus)
