Job Title: Actuarial Analyst Location: San Antonio, TX (USA) Duration: 6 Months Experience: 5-8 Years Bill Rate: $60/hr C2C $46/hr W2 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Actuarial Analyst with 5-8 years of experience in the insurance industry to support actuarial analysis, pricing, reserving, forecasting, and risk management initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and statistical skills, along with hands-on experience in actuarial modeling, data analysis, and programming using SQL and Python/R. This role requires close collaboration with actuarial, finance, and business teams to deliver data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities • Analyze statistical, financial, and insurance data to support pricing, reserving, forecasting, and risk management activities. • Develop, validate, and maintain actuarial models for insurance products. • Perform actuarial calculations and provide recommendations based on quantitative analysis. • Utilize SQL, Python, or R to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets. • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate actuarial findings and business insights. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, finance, claims, and risk management. • Support regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with applicable insurance regulations. • Identify trends, assess risk exposures, and recommend strategies for improving business performance. • Participate in model validation, testing, and continuous process improvements.
