Duties include executing model runs, conducting reasonability checks, supporting projections, and assisting with legislative impact analyses. Key Responsibilities: Assist in running simulations using existing PIMS models. Conduct data validation and spot-check output. Support the development of assumption models. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, or related field. 3+ years in actuarial or modeling roles. Excel and VBA proficiency preferred. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in actuarial science. Skills Proficiency in financial report writing to clearly articulate complex analyses. Strong foundation in statistics and statistical analysis techniques. Experience with SQL for querying databases and performing data analysis. Ability to forecast trends using quantitative methods. Knowledge of regression analysis for modeling relationships between variables. Familiarity with Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and reports. Excellent negotiation skills to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders. Solid understanding of underwriting principles and practices. Strong financial acumen to evaluate business implications of actuarial findings.
