Responsibilities
Customer Data Enablement & Integration
β’ Design, build, and maintain reliable data ingestion pipelines into Adobe Experience Platform from digital properties, enterprise systems, and approved thirdβparty data sources.
β’ Ensure customer interaction, behavioral, and profile data is accurate, timely, and fit for use across analytics, reporting, and personalization use cases.
β’ Partner with upstream data teams to align on data definitions, delivery methods, and quality standards.
Data Modeling & Platform Configuration
β’ Create and manage XDM (Experience Data Model) schemas, datasets, and data flows to support standardized, reusable customer data models.
β’ Apply consistent modeling practices that enable downstream analytics, measurement, and reporting.
β’ Document schema intent, key fields, and usage guidance to promote transparency and reuse across teams.
Identity Resolution & Profile Management
β’ Implement identity resolution strategies that responsibly unify customer interactions across channels while respecting privacy, consent, and regulatory requirements.
β’ Configure merge policies and identity rules that support trusted realβtime customer profiles.
β’ Collaborate with privacy, legal, and governance partners to ensure identity practices align with client policy.
Audience & Personalization Enablement
β’ Build, test, and maintain audience segments based on approved business use cases such as education, engagement, and experience optimization.
β’ Enable compliant activation of audiences to downstream Adobe and enterprise platforms.
β’ Support audience validation and monitoring to ensure accuracy and business confidence.
Platform Integration & Analytics Support
β’ Integrate Adobe Experience Platform with Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Adobe Target, and Adobe Journey Optimizer.
β’ Ensure data is structured and governed to support consistent reporting, experimentation, and performance measurement.
β’ Partner with analytics teams to troubleshoot data issues impacting dashboards, experiments, or executive reporting.
Data Governance, Privacy & Risk Management
β’ Apply data governance labels, access controls, and consent enforcement within Adobe Experience Platform.
β’ Ensure customer data usage is traceable, auditable, and aligned with approved purposes.
β’ Support ongoing risk assessments and audits by providing clear documentation and data lineage.
Operational Excellence
β’ Monitor ingestion pipelines, datasets, and profiles to ensure platform stability, reliability, and data quality.
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve data issues efficiently while documenting root causes and preventative actions.
β’ Follow enterprise change management and release processes to support production stability.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
β’ Work closely with Product, Marketing, Analytics, Engineering, and Data Governance teams to translate business needs into scalable AEP solutions.
β’ Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to nonβtechnical partners.
β’ Stay current on Adobe Experience Platform enhancements and recommend improvements that increase trust, scalability, or decision impact.
