Role description
Guidacent is a boutique business and technology consulting firm that fosters an enterprising, entrepreneurial environment. Our employees experience a flat organizational structure with access to constant learning -- where one’s career path isn’t set in stone, and there is the potential for unlimited growth.
With offices in Seattle and Atlanta, our firm is composed of creative problem solvers who are passionate about their clients and their work. We are a close knit group of versatile consultants who thrive on a variety of challenges and a flexible, collaborative culture.
We are seeking a seasoned Adobe Expert with deep hands-on experience in Adobe Journey Analytics, Adobe Analytics, data integration, and dashboard design. This person will play a pivotal role in translating a broad ecosystem of customer journeys into a fully operational, insight-driven analytics framework—empowering the business to make faster, smarter, and more customer-centric decisions. This role demands a professional who not only understands Adobe’s analytics stack, but can also connect the dots between operational signals, customer behaviors, and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Journey Mapping & Ingestion
• Ingest, map, and operationalize 250+ customer journeys into Adobe Analytics and Adobe Journey Analytics.
• Ensure each journey is structured to support scalable, repeatable reporting logic.
• Establish tagging, schema, and data-layer requirements needed for continuity and expansion.
1. Real-Time Data Integration
• Design the data logic and pipelines necessary to connect real-time signals from the CashPoint tool directly into Adobe Analytics.
• Architect a unified, business-ready dataset that translates raw operational events into meaningful insights.
1. Dashboard & Visualization Development
• Build executive-quality dashboards that present real-time and historical journey performance.
• Transform multi-source data into clear, intuitive insights aligned to business priorities.
• Apply strong storytelling and visualization principles to elevate decision-making.
1. Behavioral Analytics Expansion
• Develop and refine customer behavioral KPIs and KBOs—spanning discovery, engagement, conversion, retention, and loyalty.
• Recommend advanced segmentation, clustering, and behavior-based models that deepen business understanding.
1. Data Logic & Scalability
• Build a flexible analytics logic layer that allows future journeys to be added without rework.
• Create governance guidelines, naming conventions, and automated rules to streamline ongoing journey integration.
1. Analytics Tools & Ecosystem Recommendations
• Advise on complementary visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Domo) that could amplify Adobe Analytics output.
• Provide a POV on the right long-term analytics ecosystem to support growth.
1. Strategic Insight Enablement
• Define a vision for how analytics—rooted in Adobe’s platform—can drive business impact across inventory, cart abandonment, conversion bottlenecks, time-on-page, product engagement, promotion performance, and customer clustering.
Qualifications
• Proven experience with Adobe Journey Analytics and Adobe Analytics (3–7 years preferred).
• Strong background in data integration, data modeling, and real-time event architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to build dashboards and derive insights from complex customer journeys.
• Experience with data visualization platforms and BI tooling.
• Strong communication skills—capable of translating data into actionable guidance.
• Consulting or contractor experience preferred.
Engagement Model
• Contract role, with flexible hours aligned to project milestones.
• Expected to work closely with cross-functional teams, analytics leadership, product owners, and CX leaders.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal direction and deliver on tight timelines.
