• Hands-on, production-grade experience building AI agents and workflows using LangChain and/or LangGraph
• Full-stack capability with strong JavaScript experience (React.js and Node.js)

• Foundational to advanced AWS Cloud knowledge (hands-on with IAM, S3, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, CloudWatch)
• Strong mastery of REST APIs, JSON parsing, and version control (Git)
• Deep familiarity with reasoning engines and frontier LLMs (GPT-4o, Claude 3.5, Llama 3.x/4) specifically for complex tool-calling and structured JSON-mode outputs
Secondary (Good to Have):
• Experience with Azure OpenAI service integration and enterprise cloud architectures
• Understanding of financial technology standards, data security, and enterprise regulatory compliance
• Prior experience setting up robust logging frameworks and basic monitoring for active AI agent swarms
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a visionary Senior Agentic AI Engineer with 8+ years of experience to lead the development of next-generation intelligent automation workflows. Based out of our major hubs in Detroit, MI or Charlotte, NC on a hybrid schedule, this long-term contract role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining cloud-native automation engines. You will be responsible for executing advanced Agentic RAG architectures, multi-agent orchestrations, and secure enterprise system integrations. Acting as a core innovator, you will build the intelligent middleware bridging advanced large language models with production banking systems.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop, and support scalable cloud-native automation systems and autonomous AI agent workflows using Python, LangChain, and LangGraph.
• Architect and execute "Agentic RAG 2.0" structures, enabling iterative retrieval systems where agents autonomously assess data density and execute additional queries dynamically.
• Program robust backend connections and frontend components utilizing Python, Node.js, and React.js to interface smoothly with internal enterprise frameworks.
• Deploy and operate secure agent services across AWS infrastructures, including AWS Lambda, S3, ECS/Fargate, and IAM, ensuring adherence to cloud governance.
• Containerize microservices via Docker and integrate them into automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Fine-tune model performance across frontier models (GPT-4o, Claude 3.5, Llama) with a hyper-focus on reliable tool-calling and deterministic JSON-mode outputs.
• Implement foundational monitoring, distributed logging, and resilient error-handling structures to track agent execution and prevent infinite loops.
• Collaborate cleanly with onshore solution architects to translate defined architecture standards into functional, high-performing code.
