Role description
Baer is looking for AI Analyst for a 3+ month remote project.
Title: AI Analyst
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 3 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Job Summary
Supports the Principal by producing research, documentation, and structured deliverables that translate strategic direction into buyer-grade artifacts suitable for executive review and diligence data rooms.
Description
• Draft governance specifications, compliance mappings, and GRC documentation based on established frameworks
• Research AI regulatory and standards requirements (e.g., NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, SOC 2, EU AI Act) and integrate into control frameworks
• Develop AI risk registers including risk analysis, scoring, and mitigation recommendations
• Produce architecture documentation (data flows, integrations, governance enforcement points)
• Conduct AI maturity assessments using Gartner or equivalent models
• Compile diligence packages and supporting artifacts for data room readiness
• Create vendor risk templates and third-party evaluation frameworks
• Perform market benchmarking and pricing research to support executive briefings and cost models
• Maintain and refresh documentation on a quarterly basis
Experience:
• 2+ years in consulting, technology advisory, enterprise IT strategy, or GRC/compliance
• Strong research, analysis, and technical writing skills
• Experience creating governance, risk, architecture, or executive-level deliverables
• Working knowledge of enterprise systems (CRM, data platforms, iPaaS, identity, monitoring)
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with board-level presentation standards
• Understanding of compliance frameworks, risk methodologies, and control mapping
Preferred Experience:
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML and AI governance concepts
• Experience supporting technology due diligence or PE/M&A environments
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Salesforce, or Workato concepts
