AI Architect – Azure Cloud & Copilot (Banking Domain)

Job Title: AI Architect – Azure Cloud & Copilot (Banking Domain) Experience: 15+ Years Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced AI Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud, Azure OpenAI, and Microsoft Copilot technologies, along with strong experience in the Banking/Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate will design and lead enterprise-scale AI/GenAI solutions, architect secure cloud-native AI platforms, and drive Copilot integrations across business functions within regulated financial environments. Key Responsibilities • Architect end-to-end AI/GenAI solutions using Azure AI services • Design and implement solutions using: • Azure OpenAI Service • Azure Machine Learning • Azure Cognitive Services • Azure AI Search • Azure Databricks • Lead Microsoft Copilot integration (M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, custom Copilot extensions) • Build enterprise-grade RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures • Design scalable and secure AI platforms aligned with banking compliance standards • Implement AI governance, Responsible AI, and model risk management frameworks • Architect data pipelines using: • Azure Data Factory • Synapse Analytics • Event Hub / Service Bus • Provide AI strategy and roadmap aligned with digital banking transformation • Ensure cloud security, IAM, RBAC, encryption, and regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, PCI-DSS, GDPR as applicable) • Collaborate with business, data, security, and DevOps teams • Mentor technical teams and provide architecture leadership Required Skills & Experience • 15+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in AI/ML architecture • 7+ years hands-on experience in Azure Cloud • Strong experience with: • Azure OpenAI • GPT models integration • LLM fine-tuning • Prompt engineering • RAG frameworks • Experience implementing Microsoft Copilot solutions • Deep understanding of: • Enterprise architecture • Microservices & API-based integration • Kubernetes / AKS • Experience working in Banking / Financial Services domain • Strong knowledge of data governance, compliance, and risk management in regulated environments • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines in Azure • Strong stakeholder communication skills Preferred Qualifications • Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification • Azure AI Engineer Associate Certification • Experience with model monitoring & MLOps • Exposure to FinTech, Digital Banking, Payments, Lending, or Risk Analytics • Experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP – plus)
