Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to act as a liaison between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and enterprise technology teams to maintain, enhance, and integrate enterprise systems, data platforms, and AI-enabled capabilities. This role will focus on translating complex business needs into clear, testable specifications for data engineering, integrations, analytics, and AI/ML initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business analysis, enterprise data platforms, system integrations, and AI-enabled product environments.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand enterprise systems, data platforms, and AI services
β’ Define AI use cases, success metrics, and future-state workflows
β’ Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements
β’ Translate business requirements into actionable specifications for engineering and AI teams
β’ Map data structures and business processes including lineage, definitions, usage, and access controls
β’ Create business process models, data flow diagrams, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases
β’ Support AI solution design including model inputs/outputs and workflow integration patterns
β’ Partner with data engineering and AI teams on model lifecycle requirements and monitoring
β’ Collaborate with security, privacy, compliance, and risk teams on governance requirements
β’ Analyze financial transaction lifecycles including ACH, checks, and wires
β’ Support data ingestion and streaming requirements using tools such as Qlik Replicate and Kafka
β’ Perform business impact analysis and recommend scalable solutions
β’ Promote best practices in business analysis, documentation, and testing readiness
Required Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
β’ 8+ years of US experience in Business Analysis or Business Systems Analysis
β’ Experience designing functional systems and structured data processes
β’ Experience translating requirements for data engineering, integrations, or analytics solutions
β’ Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
β’ Experience supporting AI/ML-enabled products
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience in data-intensive or platform-intensive environments
β’ Knowledge of Qlik Replicate, Kafka, Tableau, or BI tools
β’ Experience in financial services environments
β’ Strong understanding of ACH, wires, checks, and transaction processing
