Role description
Agility Partners is seeking a qualified AI Data Engineer to fill an open position with a Fortune 15 company based in the greater Seattle area. This role supports a team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale data platforms that enable analytics and business insights. You’ll contribute to building efficient, reliable data pipelines while partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful data initiatives in a highly visible, fast-paced environment. What You’ll Be Doing: Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data platforms and pipelines using Python, SQL, Airflow, and Spark Translating business requirements into technical specifications through close collaboration with stakeholders Developing and implementing data models that support analytics and reporting needs Ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance through validation, monitoring, and optimization The Ideal Candidate 2+ years of experience in data engineering and data infrastructure roles Strong proficiency with Python, SQL, Airflow, Spark, and data warehouse management Hands-on experience building and maintaining robust data pipelines and ETL processes Ability to gather business requirements and debug ingestion or data warehouse issues Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field Reasons to Love It Opportunity to work with a Fortune 15 organization on large-scale, high-impact data initiatives Exposure to modern data platforms, cloud technologies, and AI-driven solutions Collaborative environment partnering with data analysts, data scientists, and business leaders Strong potential for skill growth and career development in data engineering
