Role: AI-Data Scientist Term: 06 months contract Location: 100% Remote but preferences will be given to Denver CO 1st choice, and Dallas/Austin TX second choice Job Description NOTE: 100% Remote Data Scientist/AI Engineer Goal: Optimize Client's API Portfolio by leveraging AI and Analytics to categorize and classify our existing API Portfolio and predict efficacy and economy of newly created APIs. Provide development teams with AI-grounded feedback as part of the API developer experience. Core Responsibilities • Perform data analysis by applying statistical techniques to interpret datasets, identify patterns, form insights relevant to business questions, and predict outcomes. • Translate complex software architecture problems into high-level AI and analytics solutions. • Communicate findings through concise reports, charts, data visualizations, and storytelling to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Define and integrate key data sources (design-time and run-time API and Service analytics) to deliver predictive and generative AI models. • Model development- design, build, train, and validate predictive ML models and generative AI solutions using Python, R, and SQL. • Develop custom pipelines for data ingestion, embedding generation and indexing in vector databases. • Data analysis centers on API and microservice architecture patterns so knowledge of application architecture is valuable in this role. Technical Skills • Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for data preparation, querying and model development. • Tool proficiency with visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI to communicate insights effectively. • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform Vertex AI, BigQuery, TensorFlow, PyTorch. • Hands-on experience with vector databases like Vertex AI Vector Search or Cloud SQL. Professional Skills • Robust analytical skills with attention to detail and a rigorous problem-solving approach.
