On behalf of our Technology client, Procom is searching for an AI-Data Scientist - Senior for a contract role. This position is a remote position based in Southlake, TX. AI-Data Scientist - Senior - Job Description: The project aims to optimize Schwab's API Portfolio by leveraging AI and Analytics to enhance the categorization and classification of existing APIs and predict the efficacy and economy of new APIs. The role involves providing AI-grounded feedback to development teams as part of the API developer experience. AI-Data Scientist - Senior - Responsibilities:
Perform data analysis using statistical techniques to interpret datasets, identify patterns, and predict outcomes.
Translate complex software architecture problems into high-level AI and analytics solutions.
Communicate findings through reports, charts, and data visualizations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Define and integrate key data sources to deliver predictive and generative AI models.
Design, build, train, and validate predictive ML models and generative AI solutions using Python, R, and SQL.
Develop custom pipelines for data ingestion, embedding generation, and indexing in vector databases.
Focus on API and microservice architecture patterns, requiring knowledge of application architecture.
AI-Data Scientist - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for data preparation, querying, and model development.
Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
Hands-on experience with GCP Vertex AI, BigQuery, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
Experience with vector databases like Vertex AI Vector Search or Cloud SQL.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a rigorous problem-solving approach.
AI-Data Scientist - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience working in matrixed or corporate environments.
Excellent communication skills.
