AI Developer

Job Title: AI Developer (Azure AI) Location: Memphis, TN (Onsite – Local candidates only; must be available for an in-person meeting within 24 hours of submission) Duration: 12–24 months with possible extensions (Long-term project) Start Date: ASAP Position Summary: We are seeking a forward-thinking AI Developer to design, develop, and deploy artificial intelligence solutions that enhance public services, streamline operations, and support data-driven decision-making. This role will leverage Microsoft Azure AI services to build intelligent applications that meet the needs of various departments and stakeholders. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum 3 years of experience in AI/ML development in a government or enterprise environment. • Proficiency in Python, Azure AI tools, and machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow). • Experience with Azure Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI, and Azure Data Lake. • Strong understanding of data privacy, model governance, and AI ethics. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with LLM customization, RAG pipelines, or fine-tuning models in Azure. • Familiarity with Power BI, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft Fabric. • Knowledge of municipal operations, smart city technologies, or civic tech.
