Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced AI Drug Development Contractor / Consultant to join our interdisciplinary analytics group.
This role focuses on building and applying AI and computational models for drug discovery, biomarker analytics, and clinical trial simulation, working closely with both algorithmic and biostatistics teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, adapt, or fine-tune AI/ML and mechanistic models for pharmacological and translational datasets.
• Work with open-source or commercial drug-development modeling platforms (e.g., Monolix, NONMEM, SimBiology, PySB, Stan, or similar).
• Analyze imaging, omics, and clinical trial data to extract mechanistic and predictive insights.
• Contribute to PK/PD modeling, population simulations, and endpoint optimization.
• Document model design, verification, and validation for regulatory or scientific review.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate AI pipelines with statistical and clinical workflows.
Qualifications
• PhD in Computational Biology, Biomedical Engineering, AI, or Biostatistics.
• 3+ years of experience in pharma, biotech, or life-science AI modeling.
• Hands-on expertise with Python, R, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or MATLAB.
• Familiarity with drug-development modeling tools (open source or commercial).
• Understanding of biostatistical design (MMRM, GEE, Bayesian methods) and regulatory data standards is a plus.
• Strong scientific communication and collaborative problem-solving skills.
Contract Details
• Duration: 6-month renewable contract
• Compensation: Competitive hourly or project-based rate
