AI Engineer / Senior AI Engineer / AI Ops Engineer

Job Title: AI Engineer / Senior AI Engineer / AI Ops Engineer Location: Remote (Limited Travel / Onsite Support as Required) Employment Type: Contract Job Summary We are seeking experienced AI professionals to design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise-grade AI solutions and agentic workflows. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and operating LLM-based applications, integrating with enterprise platforms, and leveraging AWS cloud technologies to deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready AI systems. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and deploy AI/LLM-based applications and agentic workflows. • Build and optimize RAG pipelines and knowledge-based AI solutions. • Develop and maintain AI infrastructure and MLOps pipelines on AWS. • Integrate AI systems with enterprise applications and APIs. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and support AI platforms in production environments. • Implement governance, security, observability, and human-in-the-loop controls. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI solutions. • Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks. • Drive continuous improvements and ensure high availability and performance. Required Qualifications • 4+ years of software engineering, AI/ML, MLOps, or cloud operations experience. • Strong Python programming skills. • Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, or similar. • Experience with AWS AI/ML services including Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, and S3. • Knowledge of REST APIs, data pipelines, and system integration patterns. • Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and DevOps practices. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to deliver production-grade solutions in fast-paced environments. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with procurement, supply chain, finance, or ERP platforms such as SAP. • Exposure to RAG architectures, vector databases, and multi-agent systems. • Experience with MLOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CDK). • AWS certifications are a plus. • Background in enterprise AI deployments and operational support.
