Key Updates & Role Focus: • The role has shifted to emphasize AI development within observability/monitoring environments. • Best described as an AI Developer with an Observability/Monitoring background. • Strong preference for candidates with hands-on experience using AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, and Anthropic (Claude), combined with a developer mindset. • Exposure to observability platforms (e.g., SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Datadog, Opsgenie) is important, but specific tools are not strict requirements. Technical Requirements: • AI development experience (building or contributing to AI-driven solutions/automation) • Familiarity with observability/monitoring ecosystems • Cloud exposure (AWS/Azure) considered baseline • Nice to have: SIEM/security background (e.g., Sentinel, Cribl), but not required Additional Context: • Long-term vision is to integrate AI across monitoring and operational systems to enable automation and cross-platform communication between tools. • This role may contribute to building AI bots/solutions, with oversight from the internal AI Center of Excellence (AICOE).
