Title: AI Specialist / Delivery Practice Coach Client: Vanguard Location: Malvern (Hybrid) • • Experience Required 15+ Years of Experience is Mandatory • • Interview Process • Direct client submission • No coding test Role Overview This is a highly technical AI Engineering-focused role. The person will help engineering teams improve software delivery using AI tools and modern engineering practices. The role is hands-on and practical — not just process coaching. The focus areas are: • AI-assisted engineering • Delivery improvement • Flow/process optimization Time Split • 50% – AI Enablement & AI-Assisted Engineering • 25% – Delivery Practices & Operational Discipline • 25% – Flow Optimization & Throughput Improvement Key Responsibilities 1. AI Enablement (50%) • Help teams use AI in software development workflows • Guide engineers and managers on practical AI usage • Improve coding, testing, documentation, and review processes using AI • Create AI best practices and guardrails • Reduce risks around AI misuse and quality issues • Help teams adapt to AI-driven software development changes Expected Skills • Strong AI engineering background • Hands-on experience with AI tools in development workflows • Ability to coach technical teams 1. Delivery Practices (25%) • Improve software delivery quality and reliability • Identify delivery risks and operational issues • Coach teams on modern engineering best practices • Use metrics and data to improve team performance • Work with engineering/product leaders to solve recurring issues 1.
