AI Tech Lead

A recognized pharma company is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a new AI Tech Lead to their growing team. About the Opportunity: • Assignment Length: 3+ months • Setting: Remote Responsibilities: • Design and implement scalable RAG-based AI architectures for enterprise-level applications • Lead the deployment and optimization of large-scale vector databases to support semantic search and generative AI use cases • Drive the development and fine-tuning of custom Large Language Models (LLMs) tailored to domain-specific needs • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into clinical and regulatory workflows • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams on AI/ML best practices • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data governance standards in Life Sciences Qualifications: • 15+ years of overall Software Development experience • Strong focus on AI/ML in recent years • Proven experience with RAG architecture implementations in production environments • Hands-on expertise in vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, or similar • Deep understanding of machine learning, LLM prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and training custom LLMs • Strong background in Life Sciences, with direct experience in clinical trials or regulatory submissions • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
